Faith and Community

Christian Muslim Forum
The Christian Muslim Forum is a joint initiative between Christians and Muslims of a range of traditions.  We have three main priorities: Creating safe spaces, Exploring differences and Healing relationships.

 

Churches Together in England

Churches Together in England fosters deeper commitment to Christ and to one another in a spirit of dialogue, witness and service to the world. CTE has 30 Member Churches or Councils of Churches and 34 Bodies in Association.

City of Sanctuary
Since Sheffield became the UK's first 'City of Sanctuary' in 2007, City of Sanctuary initiatives have grown up in towns and cities across Britain. The movement aims to create a network of towns and cities that are proud to be places of safety for people escaping war and persecution.

The Clear Vision Trust
DVD and online interactive resources for Buddhism, by Buddhists: for the classroom, for adults and for young people at home/temple.

Inter Faith Network
Inter Faith Network was founded in 1987 to promote good relations between people of different faiths in the UK. It works with its member bodies to help make the UK a place marked by mutual understanding and respect between religions.

Islam Awareness Week

Islam Awareness Week began in 1994 to help raise awareness and remove misconceptions about Britain's second largest religion. IAW, is a way to come together and address Islamaphobia. IAW support OWW through advising the Ubuntu project.

 

North-South Centre

Provides a framework for North-South co-operation to increase public awareness of global interdependence issues and promote policies of solidarity in conformity with the aims and principles of the Council of Europe.

Three Faiths Forum
Since 1997 we have been generating understanding, goodwill and friendship between Muslims, Christians and Jews, as well as people of other faiths and wider society.
