‘Make the link - Climate exChange’
‘Make the Link - Climate exChange’ is a brand new programme which will place schools in the centre of the climate change debate. The Citizenship Foundation are looking for schools interested in participating in the programme when it launches in September 2010.
‘Make the Link - Climate exChange’ will engage and empower young people in important issues and encourage them to take positive action. This is a great opportunity for them to collaborate on climate change campaigns locally, nationally and internationally.
This new school learning programme is a three year development education project funded by the European Union and developed by the Citizenship Foundation and Plan UK.
‘Make the Link - Climate exChange’ will enhance and support the geography, citizenship, ICT, languages and media studies curricula and allows schools to link with schools in countries affected by climate change in Africa (Malawi, Kenya and Senegal), and two other countries in the EU (the Netherlands and Bulgaria). Deadline for registration is July 23rd 2010.
