BBCi Songs of Praise talked to church people in Boston, Lincolnshire. which has one of the highest proportion of EU migrants in the UK about the reponse to Brexit in the light of the increase of hate crimes just before and after the referendum.

The programme also features the Sanctuary, Newport's Bethel Community Church's project that serves refugees and asylum seekers and talks to an Ethiopian about his experiencs of the dangerous crossing of the Mediterranean and escape from Calais to the this sanctuary project in South Wales.
