One World Week provides the space for people from diverse backgrounds to come together to learn about global justice, to spread that learning and to use it to challenge inequality, discrimination and degradation, locally and globally.

Staff changes at One World Week!

A huge thank you to Jenny Cameron, who for the past year has worked as the Ubuntu Project Manager, setting up the project and getting things well under way. Sadly, we are going to be saying goodbye to her in September, as her upcoming marriage involves a move back to her home town. We wish her well in her future.

"It has been a rewarding and challenging time for me at the One World Week national office. I have enjoyed meeting inspiring supporters and working with dedicated colleagues. The small team has worked incredibly hard and I am proud of all the achievements." Jenny Cameron, Ubuntu Project Manager

We also want to thank Sarah Kilou, this year's intern researcher and writer for all her work. She has proved to be a valuable team member, consistently producing high standards of work including transforming the website and resources for this year. We were pleased to be able to accommodate her requests for extensions to her placement and now wish her well as she plans to move forward.

We look forward to introducing both Jenny and Sarah's successors in the autumn.

We have recently sent out a call for new Trustees. We would like to expand the team and hope that in addition to new staff members, we will also be able to introduce new Trustees.

Please check out the website ( oneworldweek.org) for details of the latest vacancies and let others know whom you think might be interested.
