"Moving Stories: Narratives of Migration Crossing Europe”

United for Intercultural Action is a European Network against nationalism, racism, fascism and in support of migrants and refugees.

Together with partner organisations all over Europe, UNITED for Intercultural Action is organising an international conference to bring together around 70 network activists from all over Europe to discuss the issues around the narrative of migration in Europe, share their best practices and learn about new tools to deconstruct narratives and promote their own, positive visions of an inclusive and open society. Entitled “Moving Stories: Narratives of Migration Crossing Europe”, the conference is taking place at a venue near Torino, Italy, from 22-27 April 2016

You can read reports and press releases HERE

Those of us who have been involved for a long time in OWW will remember that "Moving Stories" was  the OWW theme in 2003.

As we start preparing for OWW's 2016 theme, "Including You", it's good to know that we are part of a Europe-wide movement engaged in building a culture of inclusion.

There are over 5000 organisations listed in United's address book, including 500 in Great Britain.   If you live in Great Britain, you can find out HERE  if any of them are near you and perhaps involve them in your OWW event. If you live elsewhere in Europe you can find the organisations active in your country HERE.
