OWW 2013 - 20 to 27 October"More Than Enough?" |
One World Week Trustees recently met with some of our partner organisations in the Enough IF campaign to see how we could work together on the IF campaign and later use OWW to reflect together and take the issues further. Here are some of the ideas:
OW Week – “More than enough?” The 2013 theme is a great opportunity to seek out allies who have been involved in the IF campaign, local representatives of OWW’s partners, and invite them onto your organising committee. Now is a good time to start-E.g.:
Don’t ignore local partners who weren’t part of the IF campaign – find your nearest local group of WDM which has some very exciting campaigns building up – and very relevant to OWW’s theme. The leaflets are ready and will be posted to you shortly. For extra copies to help advertise your OWW event please contact Mina in the office. Leaflets can also be downloaded from our website which you can personalise with details of your event. Donations - We thank you for your recent contributions. All donations are really appreciated and greatly needed. If you haven’t already, please consider sending a regular donation, to help us plan for the future. You can even set this up online, very quickly, via our website. Could you become a Local Area Events Contact? Getting a feel for what is going on in your area and encouraging event organisers to: use OWW’s and other’s resources; publicise their events and provide feedback? Please get in touch find out more … |
