One World Week is nearly here: 21 - 28 October!

Are you doing anything in the next few weeks that relates to some aspect of Sharing Destiny- Moving Towards One World?

There is still time to:

• send us your event info to upload onto the OWW website and be part of OWW joining in solidarity with groups all over the country;

• invite the local members and branches of OWW’s partners (see their logos at the foot of this newsletter)

• Order or download leaflets or handbooks;

• Download and print new resources from the website, www.oneworldweek.org; they include:

  • Quotations about Sharing Destiny – great to get people thinking

  • Pledges about moving towards one world – you could ask people to commit to one at your event

  • a Wordsearch about the kind of world we want

  • Data collection forms for use at your event, to help you prepare for sending us your feedback next month;

• Send a donation to OWW.

If you have not seen this year’s leaflet on the theme, then maybe we do not have your postal address. You can download a database form and send it to us.

Let’s use our theme of “Sharing Destiny – Moving Towards One World” in the aftermath of the Sustainable Development Summit in Rio, the Olympics and Paralympics, to capture the imagination and provide the inspiration to contribute to building an equitable future for all.

Join in One World Week alongside so many others working together to build a just, peaceful and sustainable world.
